Our Ministry, represented by our Secretary-General Karine Moykens is honoured to participate to the Flanders Inspires International Visitors Programme on Flanders Care - Solutions to societal changes.

During 1 week a select group of high-level experts from Taiwan, Poland, Italy and the United States is immersed in Flanders' different assets on innovation in health care.

On this first day of the programme, Dr. Carine Boonen, Flanders' Care Coordinator, in cooperation with Lieve Apers, Coordinator Contactpoint Care Economics at Agentschap Ondernemen, will introduce our Flanders' Care Programme to the members of the delegation. After these presentations, held at the Flemish Parliament (Vlaams Parlement), Dr. Dirk Dewolf, Administrator-General of the Agency Health and Care will present the Agency and our policies, including e-Health and preventive medicine. Kathleen D'Hondt of the Department of Economy, Science and Innovation (Departement Economie, Wetenschap en Innovatie (EWI)) will talk more about "Flanders: a health(y) ecosytem". The entire week is organized and funded by our Department of Foreign Affairs, led by Secretary-General Koen Verlaeckt.
